Getting a new or a used iPhone? Then please do check to find out your iPhone’s country of Origin and if it is New, Refurbished, Replacement or Personalized. It literally takes less than a minute to figure out the details of your Phone!
Especially if you are getting an iPhone from unauthorized shops or a used iPhone, it’s very important to know where it is coming from and if it is a NEW iPhone or a refurbished one – this might give you an idea about the phone conditions.
Go to your iPhone settings > General > About and Look for Model Number. It should look like MGAK2B/A
The first letter means the following, (M) in this case:
M – Brand new device, meaning the device was purchased new
F – Refurbished device, meaning the device has been through a refurbishing process
N – Replacement device, meaning the originally bought device was replaced by this model likely due to a service request
P – Personalized device with engraving, meaning the device was customized with an engraving on purchase
