In today’s video, we will learn how to create Ghibli-type images on your PC without ChatGPT or Grok AI. It’s absolutely free—no hidden costs! So, to create the Ghibli style images, we will be using ComfyUI. ComfyUI is a very useful tool that can be used to create various images, audio, and more.

Anyway, to create Ghibli style images, we need to download a few files. First, download the portable comfyUI from the Github page, and download the checkpoints and loras from civitai. All the links to downloads are provided below.

Once downloaded, extract ComfyUI on your desktop and place the DreamShaper checkpoint in the “checkpoints” folder, and the Ghibli Lora in the “loras” folder inside the ComfyUI directory. Then, you can run the bat file cpu or gpu, depending on whether you have a graphics card or not.

When the ComfyUI runs, drag the pre-configured .json file into ComfyUI. Now you can select an image and run the application to create Ghibli images. Please note, if you are using a non graphics PC, then it can take up to an hour to create an image.

Also, do experiment with various models, checkpoints, and as well with different settings. Each will produce different results. Do give it a try and let us know what worked best for you.
