Here is how you can move taskbar on Windows 11. To move the taskbar, we need to install some third party application. For that google Explore Patcher and open the page (This is the GitHub page). You will find all the details of the application.

Now go to the releases and download the version as per your PC. For intel and AMD processor download the ep_setup file and for Snapdragon processor, download ep_setuparm version. After downloading the file, simply double click on it. You screen may go black for few seconds. Also it will take some time to load.

On explore patcher click on the taskbar and on the taskbar style, choose Windows 10 Explore Patcher. You can also change other options if you want. THere are other customization options too. Anyway, after chaning the taskbar style click on Restart File explorer. Don’t panic if you screen goes blank. After this is done, right click on the taskbar, untick the Lock the taskbar. And now you can simply click, and move the taskbar same like in windows 10.

And if you want to restore it to default settings. Go to the start menu. And type explorer. You can find the application here. On the app go to taskbar, you can change it to windows 11 default. And restart the File explorer. To uninstall, simply go to settings and uninstall and uninstall Explore Patcher, then everything will go to default. This works great on Windows 11 Home Edition, version 24H2.
