Reduce iPhone’s System Data cache with this Reddit trick
So we found a Reddit trick to reduce iPhone’s System Data. Let’s see if it works. First, check your System Data storage. Go to Settings, then General, and then go to iPhone Storage. Scroll down, and here you will find your System Data. Now to reduce this data, swipe down from the top and turn on Airplane Mode. Make sure Wi-Fi and mobile data are turned off. After this is done, go back to General and then go to Date & Time. Turn Set Automatically off and change the date to at least two years ahead of the current date. So let’s make it 2028.
After that, you will have to wait 2–3 minutes. After this, turn off Airplane Mode and set the date back to Set Automatically. Then go to iPhone Storage and see if it has reduced the System Data. For us, it was less than 1 GB reduced. So it did work, but not sure if it is actually that useful. But do give it a try and see if it makes a bigger difference on your iPhone.
Thank you.
