How to convert eBook to Audio Book?

Here is how you can convert an ebook to audio. For that, we will be using ebook2audio by Drew Thomasson. First, download the code from the Github repository. Go to the link below, go to Code, and download it as a zip file. Once the file is downloaded, extract the zip file.

To set it up, you can directly run the provided cmd file. You can also use Anaconda, but this is the simplest way to do it—just double-click on it. It will download all the required files and applications to run the program. Please note, this can take up to an hour depending on your internet connection. It took nearly 1.5 hours for us. After the downloads are done, allow Python, and everything is ready.

Now, you can go to the local URL, but you will have to replace the IP address. Hold Control and click on the link. It will open in the browser. Replace the URL with 127.0.0.1:7860 and press Enter. And the application will open.

You can select the voices you want to use, and you can also clone voices by simply dragging your own voice—but this may not be perfect. To convert a PDF file to audio, drag or upload the PDF file, choose the voice, the output format, and the TTS engine.

After this is done, you can convert an ebook to audio. This may take a few minutes. Once it’s finished, you can listen to the audio to hear how it sounds.

Thank you very much.
