How to Disable/Block Internet Access of Specific Android App | Block WhatsApp While Using YouTube

NoNet is a simple app that allows you to easily block internet access for specific apps, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and more, while all other apps continue working perfectly fine.

The UI of NoNet is very simple and easy to use. On the App tab, you will see a list of all the installed apps on your phone. You can select any app to block its internet access. Once blocked, the app will move to the Blocked tab, making it easy to see which apps have been restricted.

To block internet access, make sure to turn on the main toggle. After enabling it, you will see a key icon. Also, ensure that you have granted VPN permission. NoNet is not a VPN app; due to Android policies, it uses VPN permission only to route traffic locally. It does not change your IP address or country, so it is not functioning as a VPN. You can even verify this using DNS leak tests, where your IP address and country remain unchanged.

Once everything is set up, simply open the blocked app, and you will notice that the internet no longer works for that app, while all other apps continue working normally.

To unblock an app, either turn off the main toggle or disable blocking for the individual app. The key icon will then disappear.

Additionally, in the NONet app, you can tap the clock icon to set a timer for when the blocking should stop. For example, if you choose 9:10 PM, the app will immediately block internet access and automatically stop blocking at that time. You can also schedule blocking to start and end at specific times, such as starting at 9:10 PM and ending at 10:09 PM. This scheduling feature is available in the paid version.

Sometimes, if you still receive calls or messages even after blocking an app, simply remove the app from the background (recent apps), and it should work properly afterward. Rest assured, callers or senders will not know that you are online.

Please give this handy and easy-to-use app a try. Thank you very much!
