How to Edit Any Website Using Inspect Element

Sometimes you may want to quickly edit a website just for fun, testing, or creating screenshots. A simple way to do this is by using the Inspect Element feature available in Google Chrome and most modern browsers. Please note that these changes are only temporary. This method does not change the actual website and only edits what you see on your own screen. If you refresh the page or close the browser, everything will return to normal.

To enable editing, simply right-click anywhere on the webpage and choose Inspect. Go to the Console tab and type document.designMode = “on” and press Enter. The page will immediately become editable, allowing you to click on any text and change it however you like. Once you’re done, you can disable editing by opening the Console again and running document.designMode = “off”. It’s a very simple trick that works great for demonstrations, mockups, or temporary edits. Please do give it a try.

Thank you very much.
