If you’ve received a tax form notification from YouTube, here’s how you can resubmit the W-8BEN form in 2024.

To submit the new tax form, open your browser, go to Google AdSense, and sign in with your YouTube email. Once logged in, head to the Payments section and click on Payment info. Select YouTube, then go to Manage settings, scroll down to United States tax info, and click on Manage tax info.

From there, scroll down to Show tax details and documents, and choose to submit a new form. Select W-8BEN, as this is the form for individuals who are not U.S. citizens or residents. Choose your country and fill in your address. If your country, like Nepal, doesn’t have a tax treaty with the U.S., select “No” for tax benefits, otherwise choose “Yes.” Confirm that you don’t perform activities in the U.S. for tax reporting purposes, go paperless, and accept the declaration.

Once done, you will have successfully submitted the new tax form. Be sure to resubmit before the deadline to avoid any issues with your payments. Your W-8BEN form is now updated.
