How to Remove Timestamps | Audacity for audio to text transcription
Here is how you can remove the timestamp from the audio transcribed from Audacity. In our previous video, we showed you how to transcribe audio using Audacity. If you do not know how to do it, please check our other video.
Once the audio has been transcribed, highlight the transcribed text, go to File, Export Others, and Export Levels. Choose your location and, instead of saving it as a text document, save it as .vtt format. After closing this, open the VTT file with Notepad. You can simply drag the VTT file into Notepad.
Now, to remove these timestamps, visit our website at heyletslearnsomething.com, go to the Applications section, and click on ‘Remove Timestamps’. You can paste your timestamp here or even upload the VTT file. After processing the text, the timestamps are removed, and you can copy the text, paste it into Notepad, or download it as output. Also note that no file is saved on our website while removing the timestamps.
We hope this video was useful. Thank you very much.
