Here is how you can remove timestamps from vtt files. You can open vtt files using Notepad++ or simply use a default notepad and drag the file to it. Especially if you have long transcripts, removing all the timestamps manually will take some time, so let’s automate the process.

In order to automatically remove the timestamps, go to the website “Hey Let’s Learn Something”. On the website, go to Applications and click on Remove Timestamps. Here you can either upload a .vtt file or paste the content. Quickly copy the content from the .vtt file, and paste it on the site, then click on Process Text, and you will get the output.

You can download the generated output text or simply copy the text in the notepad. All the timestamps will be removed. Alternatively, you can choose the .vtt file, open it, and then process the file to get the text as well. However, if you see more spaces, then try copying and pasting the text.
