Remove Vocals from a Song with Audacity | Karaoke Maker
Here is how you can separate music or remove vocals using Audacity. In our previous video, we had used a plugin to transcribe audio, so we will be using the same plugin. Now, for those who do not have Audacity, simply go to audacityteam.org and download and install Audacity. After that, go to this GitHub link, download the plugin, and install it. Once that is done, open Audacity, then go to Edit and Preferences, and in there, make sure that the mod OpenVino is enabled. You will then have to close and reopen Audacity.
Now, to remove the vocals from the music, open your audio with Audacity. Make sure the music is selected, then go to Effects, OpenVino AI Effects, and OpenVino Music Separations. Here you have the option to separate vocals and instruments, and also the option to separate drums, bass, vocals, and others. You can then choose CPU or GPU. This might take some time depending on your PC or the length of the music.
After this is done, you will have separate vocals and instruments. You can export them individually to your computer.
Now, if you want to make a karaoke, please check this video, which uses Capcut to add lyrics to a song. Capcut can auto generate lyrics for the music; so first use the audio with vocals, and later replace it with the instrument only, and you will have a perfect karaoke. So please do give it a try. Thank you very much.
