How I Hide Any Folder as an Image or Video on Windows | Windows 10/11 Trick!

Here is how you can disguise any folder or files as images or videos in Windows 10 and 11. Create a folder and add any images, folders, videos, or documents that you want to hide. After that, convert the folder to a zip file. You can use the default zip feature, but we recommend using WinRAR because it allows you to add a password — giving your files double protection. If you don’t have WinRAR, simply visit the official WinRAR website, download, and install it. Anyway, after that, right-click on the folder you want to hide, select “Add to Archive,” choose either RAR or ZIP format, and set your password. You can also encrypt the file names for extra security.

Once your folder is password-protected, you can disguise it as an image or video so that no one suspects it contains hidden files. Open the folder location, type CMD in the address bar, and use the command to convert it to either an image or a video. If the files to hide are small, use an image; otherwise, you can use a video for larger files.

To access the files later, enable “File Name Extensions” from the View menu, rename the disguised image or video back to .rar, and refresh the folder. Then you can open the file using WinRAR. You can re-hide the files by converting the extension back to .jpg or .mp4.

Thank you very much!
