Here is how to keep the original audio while adding any song to your Instagram reels. First, open Instagram and select the video you would like to post as a reel, then tap on next. You can hear the original sound in the video; now swipe up to edit. Pause the video and tap on the original video, and tap on the volume icon to adjust the volume of the original sound. Now tap on “tap to add audio” and choose any song you want to add from the Instagram music library. You can also select the portion of the audio you want to use, and then tap on done so the music is added to your reel.

After adding the audio, you can adjust the volume to make sure the original sound and the new song blend perfectly. Highlight the video, tap on the volume icon, and adjust the sound accordingly. You can play and preview the reel as you adjust the volume until it sounds the way you like.
