Learn how to easily extract audio from a video using VLC Media Player. Convert your videos into MP3 files so that only audio can be used accordingly. And this works on both Windows 10 and 11.

If you do not have VLC Media Player installed, simply search “Download VLC” on Google and get it from the official website. Open VLC Media Player and navigate to the “Media” tab. Click on “Convert/Save” and then select “Add” to choose the video from which you want to extract audio. After selecting the video, click on the small button next to “Convert/Save” and choose the “Convert” option. In the profile selection, make sure you choose “Audio-MP3.” Next, specify the destination folder where you want to save your extracted audio file. Once you have chosen your folder and given the file a name, click “Save and Start” to initiate the conversion process. Once completed, you will find a new MP3 audio file ready to be used.
