Tortoise tts tutorial | voice clone

Learn how to install Tortoise TTS, a Python text-to-speech application, on Windows 11. With Tortoise TTS, you can generate high-quality audio using only the text. You can also use your own voice to generate the audio content.

We will be using Anaconda to install Tortoise TTS. Create a Python environment with version 3.9 and install PyTorch and pysoundfile. Install the required dependencies by running the command: “pip install -r requirements.txt” and run the setup.

After completing these steps, you should be able to convert text to speech for free. However, please note that this conversion process takes a significant amount of time. You can also add your own recordings and clone your voice, although this didn’t work out as well for us, possibly due to our accent. However, please give it a try! Thank you very much.
