The file is too large for the destination file system usb

Here is a quick fix for the “The file is too large for the destination file system” error when attempting to transfer files to your USB drive.

The error often occurs because the USB drive is formatted with the FAT32 file system, which doesn’t support large files. You have two options: NTFS or exFAT. If you’re using the USB drive across both Mac and Windows systems, opt for exFAT. For Windows-exclusive usage, NTFS is the way to go.

Before proceeding with the format, ensure you’ve backed up all important files on the USB drive. Formatting will erase all data. Now simply format the pendrive with NTFS or exFAT, and you will be able to copy large files to the drive.
